The bottom of the magazine floor plate is stamped "CAL.32/COLT". The slide has the late style, square profile rear sight and serrated blade, front sight. Ordnance escutcheon stamped behind the slide safety lever, with the Colt "Triangle/VP" inspection mark on upper trigger guard bow and an "e" assembler's mark on the lower trigger guard bow. PROPERTY" above the trigger guard, with the British "Crown/BNP" and "Crossed Scepter" proofs, typically used by the Birmingham proof house. The right side of the frame is marked "U.S. contract Colt Model 1903 Pocket Automatic Pistol manufactured in 1944.
